Influence research lab

Influence

Influence is larger than persuasion. It includes the power to shape attention before a message, the social mechanisms that make a request persuasive, the alternatives that make a negotiator credible, and the institutions and networks that determine whose voice is heard.

This is a versioned research library for analysing roughly thirty major thinkers across persuasion, negotiation, rhetoric, psychology, media, propaganda, leadership, status and structural power. The long-term aim is an original Finnish synthesis—not a collection of book summaries. Each profile separates the authority's claims, supporting evidence, limitations, ethical risks, defensive use and practical application.

Editorial standard

Profiles are analytical syntheses, not substitutes for the original books. Verifiable claims link to primary or scholarly sources. Sami Miettinen's negotiation and commercial perspective is distinguished from the authority's own theory. Otto Juote's media, cultural and psychological interpretation will be attributed only when supplied or approved; it is not invented by the site.
