What the panel was about

“Omistaja, joka kasvattaa” — “The owner who grows” — asked a single question: what kind of ownership actually grows a company, rather than merely maintaining it? How does a company come about that doesn’t just develop, but truly grows — and what decisions does that growth demand of its owners, management and board?

The conversation moved across ownership, board work, the use of capital, and international ambition, and how those connect to a company’s next stage. It sat within Kasvuareena’s wider morning programme on company performance, market choices, exports, internationalisation and the direction of Finnish growth.

Sami Miettinen moderated. The panelists were:

• Antti Rauhala — CEO, Auroora Yhtiöt
• Riku Asikainen — Partner, Evli Growth Partners; Chair of the Finnish Venture Capital Association (Pääomasijoittajat ry)

The line-up deliberately put three vantage points on ownership in the same conversation: the family-business owner, the operating company, and the growth investor — moderated from the perspective of an M&A adviser who sits between owners and the market.
