## What the panel was about

**"Omistaja, joka kasvattaa"** — "The owner who grows" — asked a single question: what kind of ownership actually grows a company, rather than merely maintaining it? How does a company come about that doesn't just develop, but truly grows — and what decisions does that growth demand of its owners, management and board?

The conversation moved across **ownership, board work, the use of capital, and international ambition**, and how those connect to a company's next stage. It sat within Kasvuareena's wider morning programme on company performance, market choices, exports, internationalisation and the direction of Finnish growth.

Sami Miettinen moderated. The panelists were:

The line-up deliberately put three vantage points on ownership in the same conversation: the family-business owner, the operating company, and the growth investor — moderated from the perspective of an M&A adviser who sits between owners and the market.
