Jari Kuikanmäki
Journalist and author
Jari Kuikanmäki is a Finnish journalist, podcaster and author. He has worked in Finnish national television, including Alfa TV, where he once interviewed the host of this programme, and he now publishes in English. Negotiator 398 was recorded in English weeks after Origins of the Coronavirus went to print. The book is on Amazon; the sources sit on his site. His own reading, offered as an informed opinion rather than a verdict, is that the origin is research-related rather than a natural zoonotic jump. The second half of the conversation is not the laboratory. It is what national authorities, the WHO and the platforms did with dissent, why each country manufactured a local truth, and what a collapse of institutional trust costs the next time an official happens to be right.
