Erkka Niemi is a technology executive and investor. He was CTO of Siili while the company grew from roughly a hundred to a thousand people — growth that was strongly organic but included about ten transactions — and before that worked at Unikie on self-driving car technology. When he appeared on Negotiator in 2022 he was raising Voland Partners' 80 million euro technology fund together with Veera Sylvius, Jyrki Laune and Samuli Siljamäki. He argues the gap in the market is that Finland still lacks a growth-stage minority investor that commands the technology domain, and concedes in the episode that the return of cloud ERP systems took him by surprise.
