# Jesse Viljanen

Private investor, the Dividend Engineer

Jesse Viljanen is a private investor known by the handle Osinkoinsinööri, the Dividend Engineer. His background is in the pharmaceutical industry, which shows in his analysis of the obesity drug market: he stresses that efficacy is not the only criterion when a drug is assessed, and that safety, manufacturing capacity and the reliability of supply decide. When he appeared on Negotiator in 2025 his largest position was Novo Nordisk. He describes having moved over nine years from emphasising a high dividend to a broader view in which dividends are above all a source of motivation rather than necessarily the most efficient way to build wealth.
