## Summary

Topi Salin and Amos Ahola work through what they see as structural faults in welfare socialism: how universal benefits outsource altruism to the state, how the tax wedge and benefit withdrawal rates combine into incentive traps, and how a high cost of labour accelerates the substitution of AI for wage work. ## The argument

organisation makes is not between two workers but between a worker and a system — which
