Neuralink definitely isn't dead. That's what some people over in Silicon Valley keep shouting about — that we can't even keep up in conversation with such fast language models and such fast AI systems unless we have a direct connection to them. And on the other hand, I think the angle they've taken is awesome, because the first patient actually got capabilities back — genuinely disabled people, blind people, getting direct access to their senses.
